El Duque back in NY for neck examination

Mets.com reports that Orlando Hernandez has left PSL and returned to New York City to undergo examination for neck pain he has been experiencing.  The team is cautiously optimistic that it is nothing serious and that El Duque will be back with the team soon…

The Mets veteran pitcher, identified as the No. 2 starter in a rotationthat lacks definition and proven depth, was to be examined Thursday,
general manager Omar Minaya said Thursday morning. Although Minaya said
he wasn’t concerned about the first hiccup of the club’s spring camp
and manager Willie Randolph said, "he probably won’t miss a beat," the
absence of El Duque and his flying north for a more thorough
examination suggest some sense of concern.
